"The Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission received a $2.5 million grant to acquire and refurbish homes in Warren, Frederick and Shenandoah counties. The commission is working in conjunction with nonprofit groups Community Housing Partners, Habitat for Humanity of Winchester-Frederick and People, Incorporated to find qaulified occupants for the dwellings," writes Linwood Outlaw III.

People Incorporated, a nonprofit community service agency based in Abingdon, Va., has bought seven houses on Mary Street to renovate and resell to low to median income inhabitants, and are still looking for more to buy," writes Amber Tunnell, an intern at the Bristol Herald Courier.
