New River Community Action Needs Volunteers for Move

Southwest Virginia Today- Wytheville VA- Community help is being requested to help move New River Community Action's office on Saturday.  A leaky roof has made it necessary to move programs and other meetings out of the building.

PCCA Receives Funds from Virginia Health Care Foundation

Chatham, Va.- From GoDanRiver.com:  Pittsylvania County Community Action will receive $137,433 from the Virginia Health Care Foundation to hire outreach workers.  The workers will identify, enroll and retain eligible children and pregnant women in the state's Family Access to Medical Insurance Security Plan....
