Absentee Voting in June 9 Primary Elections--VACAP June Conference
On June 9, primary elections will be held in Virginia to select Democratic candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor and there may be local Republican and Democratic primaries for other offices in your area. If you will be away from your home on primary election day June 9, you may vote absentee. A Virginia absentee ballot application is attached to this e-mail. If you apply for an absentee ballot by mail, your registrar must receive your application by June 2 (one week before the election). If you apply in person at the voter registration office, you must complete the application and vote your ballot by 5:00pm on Saturday, June 6. Further voter information is available at the Virginia State Board of Elections website
