CAA of Staunton Augusta and Waynesboro

VERONA — Many local nonprofit and community-service organizations, facing proposed cuts from area localities and declining donations from residents, received some welcome news this week.  Officials announced the Community Action Partnership of Staunton Augusta and Waynesboro will receive almost $600,000 in state and federal funds.

Older Americans Extravaganza at Eastern Shore CAA

CHINCOTEAGUE -- The Accomack County Parks and Recreation Department and Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging/Community Action Agency will host the 9th annual Older Americans Extravaganza, Wednesday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chincoteague Center located at 6155 Community Drive in Chincoteague.  This dress-to-impress event is free and open to all older Americans age 60 and up.
