Commissioner's Roundtable-Invitation-February 18 from 6 to 7 pm in Richmond

As Commissioner Conyers attends State Board meetings throughout the regions, he’s eager to exchange information and ideas with colleagues from local departments, their boards, and community action agencies.  The upcoming Commissioner’s Roundtable will be held on Feb. 18th, 6-7 p.m. at Home Office—7 North 8th Street, Richmond 23219.

White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships

President Obama announced today the creation of a White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Initiatives, whose top priority is “making community groups an integral part of our economic recovery and poverty a burden fewer have to bear when recovery is complete.”
