HUD Allocates Stimulus Funding

US Department of Housing and Urban Development announced yesterday that they have allocated about 75 percent of HUD’s funding under the stimulus bill—these are basically formula-based programs.

New report by The Commonwealth Institute on Increase in Poverty in Virginia

The report released today by The Commonwealth Institute for Fiscal Analysis estimates that an additional 123,000 to 218,000 people will be living in poverty in Virginia by the end of this year.
